    Fly to Perth, arriving on Day 2. Relax at the hotel where you stay for two nights. Throughout the holiday your Tour Guide will be on hand to ensure you experience the best of Australia.

    Golden beaches, the stunning Swan River and a lovely climate, Perth has it all. A morning tour shows you the best of the city including splendid Cottesloe Beach and historic Fremantle. This afternoon explore the city at your own pace, take a river cruise or dine on seafood at one of the many excellent restaurants.

  • Indian Pacific Train - 4

    Your two night rail adventure begins this morning as you board the Indian Pacific train bound for Adelaide. Travel through the Avon Valley into the expansive wheat belt of Western Australia and enjoy a complimentary welcome drink in the Gold Kangaroo Lounge car before dinner. Your cabin steward can book a whistle-stop evening tour of the historic gold mining town of Kalgoorlie. See the atmospheric pubs and beautiful 19th century architecture and visit the floodlit Superpit gold mine.

  • Indian Pacific Train - 5

    Enjoy a day on the train as you cruise across the red desert. If you choose, take a tour of Cook, one of the world’s most isolated townships.

  • Adelaide - 6

    Disembark the Indian Pacific in the morning in Adelaide. Enjoy a tour of Adelaide’s sights this morning before checking in to your hotel for a two night stay.

    Enjoy a day at leisure to explore Adelaide, sample wines in the Barossa Valley or visit the island for a wildlife adventure.

  • Cairns - 8

    Today you fly to Cairns for a three night stay on the Great Barrier Reef. Soak up the atmosphere of the lively town of Cairns, sandwiched between the ocean and lush green tropical forests.

  • Kuranda Railway And Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park - 9

    Take a ride on the Kuranda Railway through dense rainforest and steep ravines, the track burrows through tunnels and traverses bridges as it clings to the rock face along a narrow coastal strip.     Today you will fly to Brisbane for a two night stay. The skyline of the city creates the perfect backdrop to leafy parks and the golden beaches that spread along the Queensland coastline.

  • Brisbane - 12

    Explore Brisbane on a morning tour. See the botanical gardens, discover the fine architecture of City Hall and Parliament House and pause at St. John’s Cathedral. In the afternoon maybe take a stroll along the Brisbane River, stopping for a glass of wine at one of the many bars in the buzzing Southbank district.

  • Hunter Valley - 13

    Step aboard the morning train bound for New South Wales today. Travel south through rainforest and banana plantations before an evening arrival at Maitland and a two night stay in the Hunter Valley.

    Experience the very best of this glorious wine region. Stroll through vineyards, learn about grape varieties and travel by horse drawn carriage through the superb countryside. See Bondi Beach and Darling Harbour, drive through trendy Paddington and bustling Chinatown and explore the magnificent bays that surround the city.     Today your rail adventure ends as you take your flight back to the UK, arriving on Day 20.
